1958, una balada
This work is part of a series of books that explore the concept of remembrance and forgetfulness. The negatives found in flea markets are turned into an illustrated story which becomes the starting point of a new narrative and storyline.
The sequence of images in the book resembles a static film, where the illustrations function as a palimpsest that reveals the traces of the original characters while also obscuring their true lives and experiences. The project uses drawing as a tool of appropriation, as well as to enhance the tone and atmosphere of the story.
Have you felt how your thoughts sometimes feel calm, but other times they don´t? Or how there are thoughts that come by only once,
but others that pop up again and again?
‘Clouds in the Sky’ was created as a resource for parents, teachers and therapists who want to start a conversation with children and young adults regarding the topic of self-awareness, the thinking processes, and the nature of thoughts.
